Association for Entrepreneurship Education together with Ovidius University of Constanta runs from April to June 2021 a project carried out within the Entrepreneurship University program, funded by the Romanian-American Foundation.
IDEALUS project - Innovation and Development through Entrepreneurial Activities for Learning University Students aims to realize a partnership between students, psychologists and entrepreneurs, targeting two categories of activities:
- - implementing a Psychological Counseling and Personal Development Program, in the direction of the so-called SOFT SKILLS, i.e. the set of non-technical, non-cognitive skills needed by any entrepreneur or future employee. They include communication, creativity, critical thinking, self-confidence, collaboration and working in multidisciplinary teams, assertiveness, leadership and negotiation skills.
- implementing a Entrepreneurship Education Program, which will include lectures and mentoring sessions, where students will learn in a practical way the path from a business idea, to a business plan and the actual implementation of the business idea. This entrepreneurship education program will conclude with business simulation suggestively entitled HOW TO SELL A PRODUCT?
The IDEALUS project basically proposes a holistic approach to support entrepreneurial education and student initiatives. Members of the target group will have the opportunity to be part of a program of self-analysis, discovery of personal resources, their development or reinforcement, as they will be guided to give life to their professional initiatives, desires and hopes, with perseverance and courage, with genuine involvement in the process of developing business plans.
The IDEALUS project invites beneficiaries to use the proposed activities to receive psychological and professional support, to benefit from the expertise of mentors, to have the opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences and best practices with teachers, entrepreneurs, psychologists and other partners.
