The Association for Entrepreneurial Education together with the Laboratory for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Future Technologies is organising a mentoring programme for 30 3rd year students from Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology from Polytechnic University of Bucharest.

The programme is the result of the mini-grant project competition "Entrepreneurial University", a competition run by Junior Achievement Romania and funded by Romanian American Foundation.

The final objective of the project was to train at least 30 students and 3 teachers in product development and innovation. A group of 12 students and 2 teachers participated in a more in-depth training programme that included workshops on:

  1. Customer Discovery, where the theme was USER RESEARCH and how it helps you understand your end users and their needs.
  2. Workshops on Business and Value Proposition, where the following topics were addressed:
    • POC (Proof of Concept), MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and PROTOTYPE define the first stages of your product.
    • Roadmap & PRODUCT TIPS help you stay organized and get an overview of product development.
    • Agile METHODOLOGY - a process that helps teams work with optimal efficiency, provide rapid responses to product feedback and adapt to technological, economic and cultural changes.
  3. Future Technologies for Product Development, which covered topics on 5G and Cyber Security.
  4. Design Thinking

Students also have access to the entrepreneurship course offered by Junior Achievement Romania.
